29th March 2008 Windsurfing: Brog Wind Direction: W....S Wind Stength: 6....3 Surf / Sea State: Chop Air Temperature: 10 Sea Temperature: Weather: Rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Rob Porter & I were at Brog. Not ideal conditions, it was starting to rainand it looked a bit grim. I rigged the 5-2 as my 5-6 is out of action. Conditions were very gusty and a long way from ideal. Jumping was pretty good though. After only 10 minutes - disaster - Rob trashed his 5.4 in a gust created catapult. 2 panels and it looked very unhealthy. We rigged his 4.7 & I went back out again for some more. Colin was jumping very time he saw anything bigger than 2 microns. I saw Mike on his board for the 1st time in ages, going fast and stuff. Where's Rob? I went to his van, this time he was being I'll and throwing up! I guess the shock was too much... Not a very good afternoon really. A had another 30 minutes, |
